It's very peaceful to walk around here. Different colours of trees. Fresh air and no vehicles. Truly a paradise for a morning walk. Huge park. Loved it

Interesting place to see but you need to know the storyline so you can understand the true meaning of the place. Definitely one of the top places to visit in Kragujevac

Memorial park and museum, built on 1976, to memorize maybe the biggest nazism crime against simple citizens and villagers. Around 3000 people have been executed in teams of 50, as one more nazist attempt,to terrify and suppressed Serbian, Yugoslavian people. The museum is build with red bricks to symbolize the rivers of innocent blood and has no glass and windows... More

I love this park! It's such a special place, and I especially recommend it to those who love to walk. you will be moved if you have someone to tell you the story of its origins. however, if all you want is to walk in the most wonderful scenery, it's perfect for that too.

This memorial park has been -together with Auschwitz- one of the most moving experiences of my life. In that same place, during the nazi occupation of Serbia, students and teachers were executed and even nowadays not all of them could have been identified or properly buried. It's a beautiful park with a tragic history. Highly recommended if you are keen... More

Beautiful and big park. If you dont like to walk you can take taxi which will take you to the entrance of the park. I like the way how Serbian people try to remember important things from the history. There is also kind of restaurant at the begining where you can after the walk grab a beer :)

Nice park surrounded with woods and monuments. The greatest reminder of many people shot by Germans in II World War, Including kids. the monument to the murdered schoolchildren and their teachers (the "Interrupted Flight" monument), the "Monument of pain and defiance", the "One hundred for one" monument, the "Resistance and Freedom" monument, and the monument to shoe cleaners, are some... Kragujevac in what was Yugoslavia was best known for two reasons: 1. a mass shooting of 7000 people over the period of just a few days in October in 1941 and 2. it was here where the Zastava factory was located, the company behind all Zastava cars, Yugo probably being the most famous brand. I wouldn't imagine many foreigners would... More
