One of the most impressive museums in the world!! Gallery “Anastas” is located in the heart of the Old Town, Plovdiv, and was founded based on the idea of the artist Anastas Konstantinov. It was built in three stages for nearly 18 years.

Plovdiv has always been a must see for any visitor of Bulgaria. The sights of the Old Town are beautiful and there is enough to see and do for a couple of days. A mixture of cultures and architectural styles.

It is clean, pretty and interesting throughout. Plenty of photo stops and shops to spend tourist cash. It is rather difficult to walk in some areas as the cobbles bring a whole new meaning to the word random.

Plovdiv is going to be the European capitol of culture in 2019. Cobblestone streets are charming. Buildings are generally restored to appearance of the middle 1800's. Lots of restrictions on how to renovate to make sure it retains its charm.

Interesting architecture. Tough walking. Streets are broken pieces of cement, rocks, stones and concrete. Great care must be taken in order not to trip.

The old town is a wonderful to visit. The houses are really beautiful, the churches are stunning and it is predestrian friendly. The Roman ruins are stunning and the best thing is that it is not crowded.
