This was a verry nice place to admire! The traditional houses are more than beautifull. Well organised and so much green all around.

This is one of the most exciting museums in Romania, the largest of its kind in Europe. It is a treat to walk in this huge forest and see houses from all over Romania. The only regret is that we did not have more time...More

Here you can get many old Romanian villages all in one. This is an open-air village museum where yo can see old houses from various times and different regions of Romania.

Superb outdoor experience with traditional houses, mills, and churches around a lake. There is a good place to eat. A must-visit part of the Sibiu experience.

this is a must visit in Sibiu, it's a lovely big park where you can see old houses from different parts of the country. We found also some Craft beer sellers which was nice.

The whole idea of this museum is great, but the way it was implemented is a bit poor. There is very little info on the signs, most of it is in Romanian. no sign tells about the century or history of the building.

A place for joy, silence, beauty. Very often there are Festivals organised with handcrafts, traditional food and music.

My wife and I spent 2 1/2 to 3 hours at Muzel Astra, and only finished 1/2 of the grounds. There's so much to see on this 237+ acres of open space and that's not counting the museum exhibits. Plan to spend the whole day....More

You will need to dedicate a day here. Walk the silent paths and admire the old traditions. When tired you can relax at the restaurant which serves traditional food. You cannot visit Sibiu and miss this!

No, I don't think there is. Maybe if you ask someone from the museum to look after it.
