This was one of my favorite churches to visit! Absolutely gorgeous! They have a small shop outside that is a great place to pick up beautiful Orthodox items!

A typical orthodox church building with frescoes and stinking of incense. This is the church for the Roumanian speakers of Hermannstadt.

This cathedral is quite special inside and unlike any other church around. The colorful walls and dome is something special and definitely worth a visit.

The paintings on the walls were beautiful, and the cathedral was really big and stunning. You must see it if you go to Sibiu, it is not far from the city centre.

Be very quiet and respectful. This church is still used by locals all the time. I daily walked by this church and was always stunned by it's beauty!

These words still fall short of describing, the interior of this cathedral, it really hits the wow, factor, we sat down and took it all in, the decorations are truly beautiful.

It is a church for the Orthodox faith, interestingly build by Hungarian architect. It worth to visit the interior too.

You are drawn from afar by the two attractive towers and you wonder what kind of church can it be? You certainly won’t find many, if any, Orthodox cathedrals in Romania in this architectural style. It should come as no surprise that everything is out...More
