If you enjoy an eclectic mix of artefacts jumbled together in cases, you'll like this place. You may prefer a more interesting narrative with useful information about the story of the area, perhaps a working media display? It really wouldn't take much to make this...More
The ticket was not very expensive, there is a discount for students and children.
The objects are in good shape and well preserved. They paint a clear picture about the crafts and people of Brasov.

This is a must see museum of a sensitively reconstructed urban dwelling that shows the evolution of Brasov's cultural and commercial development over many centuries. Don't miss the top floor for excellent information of the natural environment as well.
A small museum divided into two levels. The upper level is devoted to the last 400 years whilst the lower level is devoted to prehistoric and medieval times. The museum gives a real insight to Brasov's development throughout the centuries.
