but it looked very beautiful from outside. If you get in the Ribat and climb the tower, 74 steps will rewards you with a nice view of the Mosque. See my pictures.

Very beautiful mosque the inside was huge and beautiful too. Nice recitation as well. I bought a magnet from one of the souvenir shops with the mosque picture in front.

We were excited to visit the Grande Mosque, but disappointed to discover that you can actually only visit the courtyard. No entering into the prayer area which is where all the beautiful architecture is . As such there's not much to see and the visit...More

Limited opening times and you need to dress appropriately. It’s not expensive and well worth a visit. You can peer into the separate male and female prayer rooms. Some information boards inside. Impressive as it seats about 1000 people.

it is the biggest masjid in Sousse city as noticed it very bountifully architecture it has a spiritual when you enter it there is a nice street side traditional local market

This historical monument reflects one of the most prosperous era Sousse witnessed , the mosque is in the heart of the medina and it's worth visiting

It is always amazing to experience different cultures and history. We booked through our hotel with a tour guide which was quite cheap. He was kind and he really knew his stuff. The structure of this place was beautiful
