The fort is only accessible to Army/ FC personnel, but they do allow access for certain situations like school trips. Both in and outside is well-maintained, and is a great sight to see when entering Peshawar.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest pieces of historical beauty and heritage that Peshawar has to offer, but unfortunately, it is usually not open to the public and is currently supervised by the Frontier Corps of Pakistan.
