What a beautiful gift from nature. Just go see it for yourself. I was in the pools for 2 hours. Rescue bear sanctuary at exit too.

We enjoyed going there it is outside the city center by tuktuk and takes 30 minutes. There was a lot of people but we found an area with tables and chairs so we had a nice picnic.

We took a tuk-tuk at 8am from the city. The driver went very fast so we manage to arrive before many other people. We had the opportunity, for a few minutes, to take photos and enjoy the place without the crowds. I would actually suggest you take the transport from Luang Prabang before 8am. Just 15 minutes on and several... More

If in Luang Prabang it is likely that one will come here as the waterfalls are advertised everywhere. We came very early in the morning because we were forewarned that in the afternoons it can be become very overcrowded with backpackers. The bear sanctuary on the way to the Falls was worth looking at, until then I did not even... More

I went early in the morning by Tuk Tuk. Not many people at that time. Beautiful emerald water pools. Water is cold and refreshing.

Trust me when I tell you to come here. It's magical and very beautiful. The water is crystal clear and fresh. You can swim in certain areas and it's quite nice. I took a million pictures here as well. A must see place when in Laos.

A great place to visit for swimming, photography or just hanging with friends! There are changing rooms. Also, there are nice restaurants nearby. There is also a bear sanctuary nearby. Overall very nice!

The entry to the falls opens at 8AM. Make sure you reach there by this time. You'll not have many people around & you'll feel as if you have got the falls all to yourself for at least two hours. We got a tuk tuk for 150,000 Kip for our exclusive use. It is best to ask as many tuk... More

in the back of a tuk-tuk from the cave, this was a long, hot and dusty drive. Arriving at an overcrowded car park with litter and cheap stall, I was expecting the worst. How could the waterfalls be kept well and pristine and be the relaxing dip into nature we were hoping for? Walking with the crowd towards the falls... More

Cool and relaxing. Great escape from the city and heat. Fee: 20,000kip Suggestions: 1). bring with you some hot food from outside the park because you will get hungry later. Fruits are sold throughout the park by locals. 2) wear water shoes. The rocks are not even. 3). Where there is a wood branch for jumping/diving (level 2?), be careful... More
