There are two bamboo bridges that cross the Nam Khan River during the dry season only. During the rains, the bridges are disassembled and then reconstructed when the rains stop. There is a small fee to cross and it's fun just navigating the rather rickety...More

This was pretty cool crossing this, I was a little tipsy from drinking coming back from the restaurant at night but I was fine, it is lit with lights. There is a fee to cross.

What a fabulous part of your Luang Prabang experience. For a small sum of money 5000kip it is a must to walk on this rattly bridge to cross to the other side of the Lamnang River. Watch children play in the water and take time...More

The bridge costs 10,000 LAK/person to cross. It is a cool, wobbly-looking bridge that is nice for pictures. Other than that, I wouldn’t say it is something to spend plenty of time at.

We used the bridge several times. If you want to see the sunset it is a must to pass the bridge and hang out on the other side.

There are two Bamboo Bridge's here. Both same same but different amounts charged. They are put up in the dry season to get across the river and taken down in the wet season. Small cost but a bit of fun to experience.

Dedicated local families rebuild this bridge/s (there are 2 bridges) every year after the rainy season. Fun to walk across and nice to give some back to the workers. Entry is 5000- KIP (USD 0.60)

It is worth stopping to see and go on the Bamboo Bridge. It may look flimsy but it is very secure as bamboo is incredibly strong. It is well worth the 5000 kip to walk across the Bamboo Bridge and see how the locals would...More
