Our family of 4 enjoyed this performance very much. The tales were great and the performers spirited! Our 8 and 10 year olds had some trouble understanding the words, but they loved the Khene player and the drama. Siphai is an expressive storyteller.

We went to this show based on the strength of the other reviewers. I rarely review shows but this was so bad I felt inspired. First, the language barrier. Oh boy, they advertise the show in English but that "performer" was incomprehensible. But at least...More

Exactly what we expected. The stories were nicely presented, in the theatre was a good atmosphere. We liked the traditional music that was played in between and to the stories and we felt as if we got a little insight in the old laotian way...More

For about £5, this is a good value activity to learn about the myths of Luang Prabang and Laos, as well as hear a local instrument being played. I also learned a bit about the history of both the city and country. It’s all engagingly...More

Do not miss this! This unassuming theatre is tucked away on a street near the Mekong. Make sure you stop. You can buy tickets at 6:00 for the 6:30 performance. Wonderful storytelling of folktales of Luang Prabang.
