After the renovation that was completed in 2016, the area in front of the King's Fountain is very relaxing with a nice view. Don't miss to eat "Balilah" from the small stores around the place.

It's the tallest fountain in the world,. Looks beautiful in night. The fountain is visible throughout the vicinity of Jeddah. The water it ejects can reach a speed of 375 km/h and its airborne mass can exceed 16 tonnes its height is 312 m. The fountain uses saltwater taken from the Red Sea instead of freshwater. Over 500 spotlights illuminate... More

Looks good. But the excitement will be gone in two minutes.... It's big and impressive, but you can only see it at a distance which takes away from it....

Best seen a night when the lights shine on the plume but still impressive during the day. Not spectacular but well worth going to see

King Fahd's Fountain is not only immense but also attractive especially when it is lit at night. The place is really worth visiting. It is highly recommended as there are various hotels, restaurants and grassy terraces around the neighborhood. Enjoy your stay! Born and raised in Jeddah

I am not sure what the draw is here? It a really big fountain (over 1000 feet) which is lit up at night. The best viewing area is from the Middle Corniche Park near Intercontinental hotel. I did not see it working during the day. I think they only turn it on after sunset.

Convenient place to enjoy the view after the sunset. You will find seating places to buy tea and coffee (corniche).

Enjoyed the night view of the fountain. Had dinner in a restaurant facing the fountain. We enjoyed our time there.

Dubbed as the tallest fountain, the Jeddah fountain is awesome to see during sunset. It resembles to Old Faithful geyser but much taller, I guess. The gushing water being pushed up the air and back is a feast to behold while sipping tea with friends on the grassy ground of corniche.
