This was one of my first real "Emirati" experiences, seeing exactly how things were before oil was discovered in the region. Loved the trip and wish the creek was wider so it took longer!

The dock is manned by staff, and you are assigned your Abra by these folks. Orderly and quick boarding. Sort of reminds of getting on one of the boat rides at Disneyland!

Great to take an abra across the creek, very busy and hot but worth seeing, the souks are very busy and no air con so in 40 degree heat found this too hot.

best is to take a taxi... login to careem its similar to uber ...download the app.and pre book ...as you may have a shortage in taxi and avoid the que.
