Great way to get around Dubai. Very clean and signage super easy to follow. Very safe and women's car if you are traveling on own. Loved it.

When it comes to infrastructure, Dubai is second to none. And Dubai metro is just another example, very well connected.

Easy to use, well priced (£4 for a day pass!!) very clean, every where is air con, they even spray lemon scented air into the carriages haha, very slick and very easy to find your way around, 2 lines basically.

Such a quick, convenient and affordable way to get around but it can get a little overcrowded sometimes.

I did not use gold class. I travelled with a child and we used normal class. Nothing dangerous. Everything OK.

You would need to take a taxi to the Metro station. So you may as well just take a taxi all the way to Port Rashid. Taxis are quite reasonably priced in Dubai.
