    Exceptional service
For a milestone birthday my friend and I treated ourselves to the Sal beach club for the day. From the moment we were greeted at the entrance, to our arrival at reception, through to the short buggy ride down to the magnificent setting of the Sal beach club we were greeted by staff who could not do enough for us. A special mention to Anthony and Nagu who provided exceptional service and attended to our need.

    Return visit
Having visited last December some of the staff were still there and remembered us. Sat in the Skyview bar and had a bottle of Champagne. Very relaxed and felt welcomed and looked after. Probably the most exclusive but relaxing venue we visit.

The high level of service, the luxury and prestige of its rooms, the fine materials of its fittings and its excellent restaurants have earned the Burj Al Arab the title of “7-star hotel” that has made it famous in the world. Entry to the hotel is paid, starting with 159 dirhams for a 90-minute tour. Decided to stop at close distance and take few photos only.

Unreal to think this is that old! It still looks amazing. I'm writing having enjoyed a coffee looking at it and being amazed it still looks "timeless". So I have not been inside but marvel at how amazing it looks from the outside!

The most luxurious hotel I have ever seen!
I booked a tour with Golden Capuchino, and all was amazing. I've seen the most beautiful hotel in the world from close distance. Architecture, interior design, colors, high, gold, gold, and more gold! Build in the sea with the most nice view of Dubai! I really enjoyed the tour. Recommend it! And book the Golden Capuchino or champagne at the end and stay at the bar in the garden and chill!

    Out of this world
Expensive (£157) for 2 including a soft drink at the ground floor bar watching the sun set but an utterly fantastic building with good displays, fantastic views and opulence and bling by the bucket load. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Save money by going to the mall nearly opposite on the main road and go to Sardinia’s restaurant upstairs. Great fish

    A wonderful experience!
What a fantastic place to enjoy the sunset over a cocktail. Sky View bar on floor 27 was stunning with incredible service- just as you would expect. The views were fantastic! Staff were friendly and attentive and went the extra mile to make it an unforgettable experience. Prices are more than your average bar but that is expected in this hotel. It was certainly well priced for the location. Decor in and out is beautiful. I will go back for a special occasion or with guests. Thank you!

A tour of the royal suite and a gold Cappuccino
A snapshot visit how the other half live. Really opulent in a slightly OTT way. The tour lasted about an hour after the buggy rider from the JBH. Quite expensive (399 AED) but definitely a once in a lifetime thing, I'm never going to spend the sort of money needed to stay in the hotel.

Too expensive for the service provided. The most interesting part is lobby. 1 min to see and no pictures allowed.
I don‘t recommend to buy a visit. Too expensive. The most impressive part of the visit lasts less than a minute. It is hotel lobby. It looks really fantastic, but you are not allowed to take a picture. So you pay 70-80 Euro for the whole visit and spend 1 minute crossing the lobby on the way to the elevator. You can stay and enjoy lounge bar, but be aware, it is not on the top, it has no panoramic view. It is the one on the ground floor.

Unfortunately you can't walk into hotel itself unless you are booked in one of their $1,000 + a night room, but from the outside & close its a beautiful place, man-made beach is open and available 24/7.

we stayed September for our wedding anniversary from the moment you step out of the limousine you are treated like royalty. the attention to detail is amazing. we arrived early and had a drink in the lobby bar Amazing! the butler took us to our room and showed us round every thing about the place just shouted luxury. gold plated just about very thing they could. all rooms are duplexes and downstairs is a wash room and toilet, tea coffee facilities by the entrance desk along side the mini bar which wasn't so mini. dining table and sofa's laid out on the spacious living level with floor to ceiling windows looking out to the Arabian sea. Going up the sweeping staircase to the wardrobes and dressing area, even a gold plated Dyson hairdryer! to the left was a spacious bathroom with jacuzzi bath double sink with his and hers Hermes toiletries including aftershave and perfume. extremely large shower cubicle with jets coming from all directions. across the hallway was the bedroom with seating area and again floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Arabian sea everything was remote controlled to the TV coming up from behind the drinks cabinet at the foot of the bed to the curtains being drawn but with a view that we had never shut the curtains. We had cocktails/ drinks served at our room prior to dinner with canapes absolutely delicious! the whole place was just opulent and did not want to leave. definitely stay again.

Although I have visited the Burj Al Arab several times, this is the first time i stayed albeit for two nights.
I can say it certainly was an experience being very grand and quite overwhelming at times. Their E Butler service is fantastic, all of the staff are amazing and the breakfast might be one of the best we have ever had...they also catered for my grandson who has allergies. This hotel astounded us with its exceptional touches such as 'happy hour' in our rooms to Hermes toiletries and access to Wild Wadi Water Park. It was an incredible experience, thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The tour starts at Jumeirah Hotel conference centre. A buggy takes you over the bridge to the hotel itself. The tour guide says something on the way but you can't hear a thing. There is a stop to take professional photos which they say is part of the tour. It is not, you have to purchase a photo afterwards if you want. Make sure you take your own photo.

The tour then rushes through the lobby so that guests are not disturbed. ok, understood but then don't bring tours at all or do it properly.

You then go the the 25th floor to the president's suite. There are staff there who give some info but not too much, you are left to wonder on your own. Which is ok. The suite itself is huge and glamorous and is interesting to see.

The disappointing part was a signature cocktail. We added a signature cocktail to the tour. Somehow I thought it will be a bit more glamorous than it was. FYI Uma lounge is at the exit from the souvenir shop at the back of the hotel. You are detained in a confined space and are not allowed to go for a walk or to step outside a small "lounge" so that you don't mix with the guests. If you want to have a drink, have it elsewhere, it's not worth paying the price. You can "exchange" your cocktail for a glass of Prosecco or a coffee on the 25th floor. On reflection we should have done that, at least there would have been a view. But then again, there are plenty of places with a view to have a drink at in Dubai.

Overall we felt like second class citizens throughout the tour. If you are talking our money, at least make us feel welcome or don't do it at all.

This is a beautiful hotel and as you would expect nothing has been spared on decor. It's iconic and luxurious and if you feel like splashing out go for lunch. Guests get the benefit of seeing this area during the day and for those with children there is the huge Waterpark close by

Not worth the visit. I paid $110 to enter Burj Al Arab including a soft beverage and a printed souvenir picture. First of all, we arrived at the gate. We were then shuttled to Burj Al Arab. We were told NOT to take pictures at the lobby and the first 3 floors. We were NOT taken to visit their famous underwater room. We were taken to view the 2 level presidential suite which has a gold staircase, a big living room, and huge dining room, a big restroom with marble bath tub and toilet bowl. Then we were taken to another presidential suite across the hall with the same layout. Then we were offered our chosen drinks with “diluted” Arabic coffee. Then they took the pre-paid picture and offered us to choose the cheap plastic picture frame. Then they took few more pictures and show us that they will put these 8 digital pictures into some Burj Al Arab picture backgrounds like the presidential suite, the lobby, and the outside view of Burj Al Arab. They are selling these 8 digital pictures for AED 500 or $136. I didn’t realized that this is a trap. They gave me a link to download the 8 digital pictures and I was told to download the 8 pictures 2 hours later. I was told to email them if I have trouble downloading the pictures.
I left Burj Al Arab disappointed not able to view the famous underwater room, and not able to take pictures of the famous lobby. Then when I downloaded the 8 digital pictures 2 hours later as told by them, my picture was superimposed floating on the water looking at Burj Al Arab tower which is same size as me. They did not even shrink my size and place me on the shore. Another picture of me in the lobby where they place me hanging in the air instead of standing on the floor. Another picture of me in the lobby standing over the fountain, and another picture of me in the presidential suite showing me as a giant occupying the entire floor to ceiling height. All 8 pictures are so horrible looking. I emailed them twice asking them to adjust the pictures but they never responded . I have been waiting for their response for 8 days already but they don’t seem to care. I called my credit card company to dispute the sale of the $136 ( AED 500) 8 digital pictures, and I was told the pictures were sold by IBAA ( Burj Al Arab hotel) and not by photography company. I was told by the credit card company that since it is sold by the hotel, it is non-refundable. I looked at the receipt and it also printed in the receipt as non-refundable.
Beware of the scam of the Burj Al Arab visit and please don’t fall into the trap of the 8 digital picture sale. No wonder they told us no picture taking in the lobby and first 3 floors so they can sell you the non-refundable horrible pictures. BEWARE of this hotel scam. What a shame!

We have a wonderful wonderful time in Dubai.
Top class service with very kind people, yesterday after inside Burj Al Arab tour, we’re not sure how to get to Shimmers, the guy in the pic take us there and introduce Jumeirah Hotels to us, we have a very pleasant chat, and we have a really good memories here.

Definitely will try Jumeriah resorts next time!

We divided to experience the Burj Al Arab as our stopover point on our way to South Africa for our safari.

This property is everything you could dream of and the staff makes it reality.

We had a two story suite with a butler at our beck and call, however it’s not our style so unofficially we gave him the night off.

The architecture is amazing and the property is everything you’d expect from a 7 star hotel.

We did have the pleasure dining in the restaurant with the giant salt tank. It was as excellent as you’d expect.

Ironically, 8,000 miles from home and we meet a local restauranteur from our hometown. Small world.
