We went as part of a bus tour and I have to say that when you see this much "gold" in one place you have to question the quality and even whether some of it is real or gold plated without telling the customer. At...More

Try not to visit during the hottest part of the day. It's nice to walk through this market and see the shops with gold in the windows. Be aware, many people will approach you trying to sell whatever they have. If you're not from a...More

Over rated and not worth the trip. The prices are really high, especially for informed American travelers and shoppers like me. The shop keepers didn't want to bargain much and stuck mostly with the sticker price. The quality and design of the jewelry was more...More

Beautiful place to visit, buy or window shop gold or silver. The little alleyways as you walk through lead to other shops such a perfume shops, clothes and little gift shops which you can haggle the shop keepers. Highly recommended place to visit and explore.
