We spent about 1h in the stuck traffic to reach there to see like many other people that the zoo is closed. A pure waste of time. On the official government page it said opens from 10am to 06pm. Very disappointed. And than again another...More

Not a particularly big zoo but we all still had fun. Entrance was very cheap and there was a big range of animals there. Worth a visit at the very least.

I am pleased to advise all that the Dubai Zoo has finally closed its doors. It was so long overdue. The new Dubai Safari which replaces the Zoo is scheduled to open some time in December, but now after National Day, the 2nd of December....More

For a place like dubai, this zoo is literally a mark of shame. Firstly it was very compact and secondly animals were kept in deplorable conditions. There was very little variety of animals and most cages were smelly. Moreover parking slots were scanty and washrooms...More

The place is small but they have many animal and bird species in there. It is very cheap also. Location is just besides Jumeirah beach.

No it is strictly not allowed. You can visit Safari park at Bangkok if u want to hold or click pics with Orangutan.
