This man made island never stops to amaze me. Once you drive to the Palm, it feels like you are entering a holiday destination on its own. Frangipane and palm trees, flowers and big lamps in the shape of big vases decorate the whole island....More

All pictures of Palm Jumeirah are taken from above. That’s because you can’t see anything from ground level. A drive up the stem, even from the upper deck of a tour bus, is boring and any potential good views are blocked by apartment buildings. Wouldn’t...More

I remember reading about this amazing project when it began. Then the economy hit the skids and it sat vacant. Not any more! It is chock full of expensive houses and exclusive beachfronts. . A fabulous man-made island in the shape of a palm tree...More

You should not wonder if you find some of the celebrities moving around you on this island. A man-made island in the palm shape. it has expensive hotels, skydiving, aquarium restaurant, private beaches, and water sports.

I adored the Dubai Metro, but the only way to get to the Palm/Atlantis is the Monorail. The Monorail is located at the end of a fairly long walk after you get off the Metro. There is nothing really to do or see once there,...More

The place is cool but when you are in it you can’t tell you’re in it. If you aren’t going to Atlantis there’s nothing to do not much to see maybe take a photo or so but nothing other than that. There isn’t a beach...More

Palm is an amazing place to be. Especially during the early evenings on winter days it has a charm of its own. With boats sailing on the water & distant tall buildings of the downtown adding to the visual experience.

Palm Jumeirah is known worldwide for the special history: the land was reclaimed from the sea and shaped like a palm tree. However, the shape of the tree was not clear if you travel by road, you need to go up on a helicopter. However,...More

Quite an engineering feat, definitely interesting to see but still a lot of construction. Walking the length of the Palm would be nice but is not possible. There is a tunnel that connects the stem to the outer crescents, and pedestrians and bicyclists are not...More

Honestly, I don't know where on the palm. I didn't see it on the part where we went. Ask your guide to help you with that.

It looks like it's on the boardwalk at the top of the palm but not sure exactly where. I'd head to the end where the Atlantis hotel is and scout both ways. bet it's near there. I just pinged my mate who lives on the palm and... More

There is no such option to the best of my knowledge. If you are looking for a good option with beach settings, try the main Dubai beach with a hotel overlooking it.
