Huge place with a ton of things to do for just about every age. Good mix of sciencey and non-sciencey activities.

Great place to take kids it's a fun and educational place, where kids will be busy for hours. Even teenagers and grown ups will enjoy the visit.

This has been on my list for years, finally got to go with the family. Had a fun time spent a few hours. Would definitely come back.

More oriented for older kids (4 or 5 and older) with lots of, obviously, hands-on exhibits where kids (and adults!) can learn how things work and some local history too. The full-size ambulance is always a hit and crawling with kids!

Took my two year old grandson to this museum. Definitely for ages 6 to 12 in my opinion but good place for younger children to get their energy out during winter. Admission price is reasonable and representation of scientific principles is great!

Kids love this place. Cranky adults? Not so much. Packed with kids, the volume is loud. multiple floors make it tough to keep track of little ones, but staff help out as needed. My advice is to send your kids with someone else.

Try the Washington/4th structure first choice or Ann/Ashley next they are a short walk; and the kids can alway use more exercise. .and "build up" the excitement about the museum.
