We rented tubes from the Livery and they give you a life vest to wear as well. There are a few ways to enter the cascades. Near the top, before the bridge, into deep water or past the bridge onto one of the limestone jetty's....More

Friendly staff got us on the river in no time flat. Gear was all in good shape and single person kayaks were fast in the water. Cascades were super fun and the temperature on the water was blissfully cooler than on land.

Wonderful, went down several times. Easy to walk back up to top of rapids. Sidewalk hot if no shoes. Had fun even with lots of people.

The canoe livery in Ann Arbor is an amazing experience. The level of the river will decide for you what is available but anyway you will discover a hidden and natural part of the city ! Expect to be wet... Very wet.

^ "Cigarette lighter" is the 12 volt power outlet in your car, not a flame-type lighter... Just to be clear. :)
