Big Ole has been around forever. He recently got a new paint job - still impressive to visit and take photos of - and he is big.

Neat statue in downtown alexandria plenty of paking for those who want a photo by his feet. Nice place to walk around with lake agnes in the background. There are kinds of waterfowl birds just roaming around. This is a very nice town.

the statue is is fun to stop and take pictures by. Nothing else to do there unless you plan to go walking. most of the trails start there.
