Beautiful lake, beautiful clean water and has opportunities for boating or fishing, or just camping out on the shores. Wintertime brings the ice fisher people when the lake frezes solid.

Wow what a great time fishing at Georgetown lake! An experience that everyone needs to try just once! It took us about 15 minutes to drill the hole - that was a crazy feeling! All i could think about was "is the ice gonna crack?"...More

We snow hiked in and out up twelve miles to Hidden Mine. What a wowie of a day. Be prepared for deep snow at higher elevations and a consistent cloying cold.

We almost moved here (P-Burg), but we couldn't look past the mostly dead forest that has been ravaged by bug kill. Unfortunately, this is happening across much of the west. Anyway, nice lake with plentiful wildlife and supposedly good fishing.
