If you are ever in Anaconda MT, please make it a point to visit this beautiful theater. The history and unbelievable artistry is worth the trip, and for an additional 50 cents you can view the movie from the balcony. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Washoe theater is one of the best theaters around. It is historic and well maintained. Very beautiful. Jerry Lussey that runs the theater takes great pride in it and is a great asset to the community. Special events can rent out the theater for a very reasonable price.

The Washoe Theater has been in continuous use since 1936 and features terrific art-deco design features and still plays current films. It has a large balcony, the original lobby woodwork, unique seating, beautiful ceiling art and awesome chandeliers. A view from the stage in front of the movie screen offers the best perspective. We met an enthusiastic Washoe volunteer and... More

This movie house brings back all the nostalgic charm of the past. It has been maintained to represent the days it was originally built. It takes you back in time with very reasonably priced movies and an additional .50 cents to sit in the balcony. Even the candy and food item prices are not inflated. Making this a very cost... More

One of the last great theaters built. A must see. The inside of the main theater is so lovely. It was built in the 1920's and the beautiful stage and side curtains are wonderful. The sound is excellent and we visit often.

Was in town visiting a friend and wanted to check out this theater! Great historic charm and cheap concessions! We payed the extra coin for the upper level seating. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town!

Whenever we travel to this part of Montana, we always make sure we catch a movie at the Washoe. Tonight, despite the snow, we ventured to Anaconda to see a movie. We were greeted by Ross who just finished shoveling the walkway. He and his very welcoming crew made us feel at home. And what a BEAUTIFUL theatre the WASHOE... More
