Worth a short visit

This is well worth a short visit. Some strenuous steps required but overall not too challenging. Can be done in less than one hour.

Pre Rup was dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and was used often for the cremation of bodies. It is an interesting place to see but is not as spectacular as the other temples in Siem Reap.

It was the first stop of our grand cicuit tour and it is a beautiful temple. The signature three structures in the middle offer some great spot for photo taking.

We were unable to get to the top of Phnom Bakheng to see a sunset despite our best efforts. The next day, our guide Thearith took us to Pre Rup, where we were able to get to the top and enjoy a great view. We did arrive about an hour before sunset. It got quite crowded but we were well... More

If you have limited time in exploring all the temples, just go to Angkor Wat and include this one. It's not enough to just take a picture of it. Be sure to climb the stairs and marvel at the view from the top. This is where we spent most of our second day. We just kill time marveling at the... More

I visit this temple 2 times it was interesting with the carvings and dint seem as popular for some reason, so I went back in the evening for a sunset photos. There where only around 30-40 people taking photos instead of the 1000s at Ankor Wat

Beautiful structure but very similar to East Mebon. This is very hyped place for a Sunset but we didnt like it though. You are sitting directly facing the sunset with no beautifull view of either the landscape or any monument to see. Would suggest to skip this and spend more time in Bayon.

Saw this Temple on our third day and it was not as grand as some of the other Temples we visited. With that said, we enjoyed taking photos here.

Nice temple for photo shot even it's not sophisticated compare to some. You could climb up to the temple as there are proper steps but take it slowly as there are so many temple you want to visit.

This is the only temple that is made from bricks. They build this brick by brick with nothing in between!
