Interesting insight into the silk manufacturing process. Our guide explained the life cycle of the silk worm and then we were walked through the weaving process. It probably only needs 1 hour here at the most to look around. I actually spent nearly as much time in the lovely gift shop. Some beautifully presented gifts to take home if you... More

After 2 days of temple peeping we were interested in changing it up a bit on our final day in Siem Reap. We decided to check out the silk farm and we thought it was actually really cool. The tuk tuk ride from our hotel was about $10 and the tour was free. We thought about going to the shop... More

We took a tuk tuk there as we realised too late that there is a free shuttle bus there. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a tour guide who was very informative. I am now an expert on the life of a silk worm and how we get silk thread from their cocoons. We saw all the... More

We took a 15 minute tuk-tuk to the farm and back and the ride was part of the sight-seeing adventure. At the farm you are accompanied by a guide who leads you through the entire production process from feeding silkworms to intricate weaving. Good photo opportunities. Entry to the facility is free, but a tip for the guide is appropriate.... More

We took the free shuttle bus from Artisans d' Angkor in town and joined the guided tour at the Angkor Silk Farm. The tour was amazing and the process of silk making was explained in detail by our guide. It was interesting to watch the various processes involved in the making of good quality silk. This is highly recommended!

We had a lovely guide who entertained , informed and amused us in this visit. It was interesting to see the various processes involved in silk production and then finish with a visit to the shop at the end.

We were provided a free shuttle to Silk Farm which offered by Artisan D'Angkor. We really enjoyed this trip very much and have visited many of demonstration types sites. The guided tour was very informative and interesting. Also, the gifts shop had a lot of nice things to see and buy. Highly recommended!

Spent a morning being shown around the Silk Farm, you get a tour guide to show you around the complex who will explain each of the stages for the Silk production process. Is truly fantastic to get an insight in to how Silk is produced first hand. You also get to see the process from start to finish and the... More

This was a very interesting place to visit. The whole family enjoyed seeing how silk was made and how much time is put into it. There is a gift shop at the end of the tour it was very crowded with a large tour group that made it difficult to enjoy the store. But until that point we all enjoyed... More
