Overview
More
"Smile of Angkor" is the first grand Epic daily show that revives the Angkor dynasty in all aspects. It's the most worth view show in Cambodia. From foundation to prosperity, tale to folk customs, past to present, Smile of Angkor expresses the original culture with the highest technology It's a splendid performance directed by the experts of the Cambodia Culture and Fine Arts Ministry and the director team of the Closing Ceremony of 2008 Olympic Games. It's a legendary show that revives all the myths from the reliefs of Angkor Temples with our grand stage and the brightest stars. There is a buffet at the venue to allow you to dinner before the show. A small and cosy restaurant is dedicated to the individual visitors (non-group) but be aware that it s a huge buffet for Asian group so don't expect for food and Western standard level. But you will be able to see all the nationalities of Asia and to taste differents foods : Khmers, Vietnamese, Korean... Be aware that during the high season there should have so queue for the bbq which know a big success. During the show you can not take photos or videos. We wish to welcome you

Not worth to watch, poorly performed, nothing really special and badly put together, plus it was so noisy full of groups especially from China who were so so loud. Overall I would not recommend it to anyone, waste of time and money.

On 15th Sep, I received a flyer at Angkor Ticket Centre on Smile of Angkor, and I thought it would be great to watch a local culture performance. I asked my hotel reception to make bookings and was told the numbers of their website couldnt...More

Its a show more about the heritage and meaning about Angkor Wat, than about the history. I've read a couple of reviews, and they seem to complain about the attendants, and the food quality. I have lived in Asia for a couple of years, and...More

Rating this show a 1 is being generous. Maybe a 0.5. Look, if you want to know how bad it was in a nutshell...I can only describe this as watching a combination PowerPoint clip art presentation with lasers coming out the wazoo, with poorly-choreographed attempts...More

Smile of Angkor features local artists and talents portraying the story of the Angkor Wat through the use of amazing sets and beautiful, passionate performers. We just took the show ticket, but there is also an option to take show + food. Highly recommended if...More

It was a lovely performance. Helped understand some of the stories of Angkor Wat. A little over dramatized at times, but overall very good. Maybe slightly expensive for Cambodia, but not for a show of that size. The food was cheap and terrible- have dinner...More

I was hoping for 'reassuringly expensive' but that is not the case. This is the most expensive Apsara show in town.We went for the mid range tickets and these were USD 30 per person. The show consists of a buffet dinner followed by an hour...More

The show was recomended to us by our hotel. Dinner was below avarage, specially since we are vigeterians. But the show was totally worth it. The show includes several traditional dances, my favourate was the peacock dance.

Hi, I thought the show was good. Forget the dinner - not worth it and poor quality. We were lucky we were in the VIP section (only had 5 seats - just for us). Yes there were some tourists (Asian - cannot specify country... More
