To mention again we saw this temple on an amazing bicycle tour with Grasshopper Adventures. This coupled with all the service they offered and a lunch at Kolab Angkor Restaurant made this the most memorable part of our holiday.

After visiting Angkok Wat, we visited Angkor Thom. It is very personal, but I was particularly moved by all the heads of smiling Buddah. Evidently, you need to be oblivious of lots of tourists doing their selfies.

Angkor thom to me had multiple experiences so just beat Angkor wat. Others in my family group disagreed, the pictures of Angkor wat do take some beating. But thom has the Buddha heads of the bayon and the great reliefs of the terrace of elephants and the leper king so offers much more variety. You need to do both thom... More

Despite it being practically 40 degrees this collection of temples were breath taking!! The Bayon temple a particular highlight, I've never seen anywhere like it, climbing to the top level is an absolute must. Other worldly!

I was stuck in awe when I saw how the people in those early days have carved faces in a stone. It was truly amazing.

One of my favorite temples. We had a private guide, Mr. T. He was amazing. We learned a lot from him and have much respect for him. This temple is beautiful and worth a visit. I would not recommend missing this one.

This temple is awesome! I couldn't believe when I saw it, the faces on the rocks are so cool, also, lots of monks around, so you can take pictures with them. pay attention to the visiting hours, there are too many people.

Truly amazing, even better than Angkor Wat in some respects. The carved statues are incredible, as are the wall carvings when you see that they are many small stones, carved separately then put together to depict the scene!

This is another of the series of Wats in the complex. This king had a thing for the Wats that is for sure. Each one is a unique experience, this one is no exception. Our guide was so right to ask us to look at this one as well. Another must see on the tour.
