The trip to this temple by tuk tuk takes over one hour. But you get to see countryside and go through villages. We enjoyed this very much. The temple itself is tiny compared to the other ones around. But very beautiful and different to the others. I am not sure however how they would handle crowds during the busy seasons... More

Loved my visit to this temple it is absolutely beautiful and well worth the effort of getting there. All of the temples are special and beautiful but the artistry on this temple is exquisite! I have visited here twice over the past few years are I was equal as impressed the second time around.

It worth the effort to visit as Banteay Srei has to be the Jewel in the crown when with intricate detail of carving. It small than the other temples but outstanding temple devoted to Lord Shiva

It's a small complex, pretty intact, within a moat and outer wall. Other temples are... More

From a distance it looked like a temple built with terracotta like temples in Bishnupur in West Bengal, India. The name Banteay Srei means “citadel of beauty” and it is indeed a beautiful creation... We took the one hour ride each way from Siem Reap to see this temple, and it was totally worth it. Exquisite details that are hard to believe have survived a thousand years.
