Part of a temples tour. Extremely interesting to see. Honestly, take a guide. The history behind is so much better explained than in the books...

This is only one of the many sites that NEEDS to be seen. Despite above 40deg temperatures it is an experience i will always treasure. What an awe inspiring thought that a culture this old could create something this incredible in medieval times.
One of the prettiest temples. Also the only one I visited that had any written information. A long ride out but you pass thru countryside and there are other attractions to visit on the way/way back. Butterfly farm, landmine museum, bantey srei village
We hired a Tuk Tuk from our hotel for US$26 for the trip to and from Banteay Srei. Without a doubt, the journey there and back was the highlight. It's certainly not a ride for the feint of heart but it was a wonderful way...More
nicely detailed, and more manageable in size compared to the rest. this was our first stop and first taste of the grandeur to come. Pretty and less people in the morning
The trip from downtown Siem Rep will have anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hours by car and is well worth the extra time to see it. The colour of the temple is unique, a pink glow, and is best viewed on a sunny day between...More
It pissed down here and we all sheltered under the doorways etc where we could, thankfully had rain poncho and brolly, guide forgot brollies! Lol being from NZ we were prepared :) This was a lovely little temple and the carvings were amazing.

This place is located 15 kms -20 kms away from the main temple town. Very beautiful and the carvings on pillars are a lot more intricate.
This is a very special temple in the vast Angkor inventory. It has the most beautiful statues and intricately carved artwork everywhere and is well worth a visit.
