This is a great museum that is really well set up. The only problem is that its really hard to get to. really enjoyed the free english narrative audio that you need to take. Great history session.

When I heard about this area I wanted to go. Being a Canadian I knew very little of what happened outside the textbooks from history class. Seeing it with my own eyes, was another thing. A wonderful time out. Learned a lot. Worth a visit....More

Great history lesson! Free to enter museum but the staff mending there are reaaaallly reallly moody. Opium war relics bring to life the struggles of the Chinese during turbulent times

History of the Guangdong region and context of the "foreign influences" on 4 floors of the museum. Also small outdoor historical exhibits of agriculture implements, and a poster/photo display of the modern day anti-narcotics enforcement. Entrance is free.
