With all the charm of old China with more modern services. It's a long walk around the perimeter of the lake so reserve a couple of days for your visit.

Enjoy the whole day there either place with kids on some small 'island' or "park"...or get snacks and local specialty on the street. visit the local vegetable market to see what local people sell or eat. and get local food there too.

Lots of natural beauty with the huge lake. Long walk but worth it. The temple was fantastic. Had a pottery museum too. Definatley worth a visit. I did a day trip from SZ. Lots of snack bars. Can rent a bike or a boat too
