Beautiful sunset view after dark: 7 Aug 2016

As I stated before in my previous review, I was there in the late mid summer when it was very hot and humid. The good news? Sunsets at least earlier than before, around 19:30, it went down so we can take a grandiose view at the sunset on the river. The park however, is quite far from the centre of... More

This area is large (many acres!) with paths, roads, aerial tramway, temples/pagodas, small scenic bus, interesting garden areas, children's attractions, statues, bridges, bonsai gardens, musical show in the Chulian Temple, snack shops, and even a lotus plant research center. Moshan Hill dominates with extensive views of the polluted air over the city spewing from industrial plants and massive high-rise building... More

Beautiful walk along Donghu, best to do it on a clear day, weather can sometimes be a bit dreary. Relativley quiet and peaceful.

Donghu Park is the most popular place for appreciating Sakura in China. In spring, plenty of visitors from different parts of China go to the park to appreciate Sakura. The view is really beautiful but the crowd is horrible. Too many visitors!

Donghu National Park is a beautifully serene retreat from the fanatic pace of the city. I was there in January, so it wasn't tourist season, but the Park is huge and I imagine would be a great place to get away from all the people and traffic in the city. It's well kept up and has many picturesque monuments. You... More

This lake locates in the center of the city. The lake is 6-time larger than Xi Hu (West Lake) in Hang Zhou. It is a great place to relax. The breeze and the willows along the lake make you feel soothing. It has winding walkways to let you enjoy the scenery. You can also ride on the boat to enjoy... More

Beautiful lotus pond in this famous and huge lake in Wuhan. I always love to go even in the winter. This is definitely a treasure in Wuhan. It is also the largest inner city lake in China. But sometimes it can gets foggy and cloudy without much viewerability due to the pollution. Also the water may have some pollution as... More

This is also the place you must visit in Wuhan. This lake is so beautiful with all natural preserved and great scale of city park. It is not less than West Lake in Hangzhou. The scale of the lake is much greater than West lake. It is beautiful for all seasons.

The park has very a enjoyable panoramic view. One can spend a few hours happily. I enjoyed the tour, thanks to the nice weather too.

Not so far from the Optics valley software park is the lovely Donhu- the East lake. I arrived there on one winter afternoon to calm down the stress of all and the moment I arrived, the gentle breeze blowing over the sparkling ripples of the lovely lake flew me to the land of dreams. Really lovely to spend some leisurely... More
