This maybe the only Buddhist temple you'd have seen that is unlike any other throughout China. The entire compound is not dirty, but very messy - don't know why?

Not really a hot spot and difficult to find. The temple is crammed between buildings and there is not much to see for tourists. The architecture is strange, it is built after 1900 and looks like one of these churches. Inside there are the same...More

It's easy to miss the entrance, and even my Chinese friends were surprised at how "tucked-away" this location is. They have recently added an entrance fee but you receive incense to burn when paying. There are a couple of shops selling mostly Buddhist-related items as...More

We went to visit this temple on Sunday in the morning. Luckily at this time it was pretty empty and we could explore this temple in depth. I liked very much the combination of lotus growing there and this unique architecture. Worth visiting!

I have mixed feelings about this place. The architecture is very interesting, but they're building this new temple right next to it and not bothering to try and make it fit in with the slightly older architecture of the previous building. It's going to be...More
