This is an excellent way to see the country side of China. We took a 4 day cruise westbound on the Yangtze and luckily had fantastic weather for 3 of the 4 days. Highly recommend you do this if you go to China

This was an optional excursion from our cruise along the Yangtze - we were taken by boat to the landing dock, where we were greeted by a 'sailing ship' and the sailors all hoisting the sails, singing along! The whole experience is a walk through...More

We didn't actually get to the village as there had been a landslide however the views from the river were wonderful. This part of the Yangtze is now protected from flooding due to the dam. Its a beautiful part of the world.

The Yangtze River views are just that breathtaking. The beauty goes on for miles. You can sit on your balcony and watch the mountains go by. It is a wonderful trip with excellent stops.
