To give you a different taste of Inner Mogolia, not only the desert and grassland, this is a place to understand more of Buddist Culture, recommended for a day trip. Do remember to tour around the different "streets" near to this temple

Nice visit if you are in the city. Different than most Buddhist temples and has historic significance. The old street is right across the plaza that you can walk to.

This well maintained temple complex contains many wonders. The monks study and pray within the temple and it is really worth a visit.

Around Dazhao temple there are several other temples to take in as well, all beautiful in thir own way. Dazhao is the biggest and requires a ticket while the others are free. It is a gorgeous temple, not the best, but worth taking in.

The temple itself is the same as most temples around China, mostly rebuilt. The redeeming quality is the touristy streets around it with good prices souvenirs and leather workers.
