Labor Park is all about fun. It does have some blown-up photos of local Labor leaders but it also has a chairlift, winding walkways through manicured trees with pagodas, open areas for dancing, and this winter there's a winter wonderland with a ski hill in the middle of the park!

My 19 year old daughter and I stopped in Dalian for a day before heading to Harbin for the Ice Festival. We were lucky and got a balmy day (8 degrees Celsius!) and blue sky. At around 3.30pm we stopped off at Labor Park and were glad we did. Clearly, there'd be much more action in summer. The chairlift would... More

This is one of the largest parks I've been to. It's full of hills, ponds and pine trees. Also, it's full of life. Old people are doing physical exercises in the park, and families are having fun in the small funfair.

Large and serene park, in the center of town, grab moments of quite and peacefulness . It includes an amusement park, statues and merry go rounds so also good for families as well as couples. Chair lift was a bit scary going over the road but a lot of fun, once you get to the top get an amazing view... More

Laodong Park is located just next to Kempinski's. Very easy to access and it is free to enter. I wouldn't say its very good but average. There was a lot of half naked people sitting under shadows playing cards. There is a sizable lake with beautiful water lilies. It was very sunny and too hot to walk as there was... More

A park that can inspires you to motivate and feel energetic. I, my sisters and brother in-law loved this park so much. We walked around and took a lot of photos under the hot sun but without complaint. The environment and scenery are pleasant to the eyes. However, the public toilets were not well maintained.

It was very hot when I visited here. So I gave up walking in this huge park and just sauntered around the beautiful Chinese pagoda. The roses were in full bloom so it was a very good place to take photos. There is a lake and a lunapark too and the area is surrounded with green trees. Those reminded me... More

Interesting park with lakes and stalls selling artworks and foods. Has a happy atmosphere. Can swing a hammer and sound a gong. Rides for the kids. On the Sunday I went parents are posting photos and details of their children on trees trying to find a prospective wife or husband as their children are all too busy working!

I spent several hours at this park and completely enjoyed myself. It is beautifully laid out and there is something for everyone. There was singing, boat paddling, fishing, etc happening. An easy walk from the Intercontinental where I was staying. The variety of spaces and flowering areas was spectacular.
