It is a nice place to be seen. I suggest also the near oympic village (Bejing 2008). the place is quite and the view is amazing

Popular area by the coast in Qingdao. A short walk from Hong Kong road, convenient if you’re a business traveller and want to venture out to get done fresh air Plentiful coffee shops and nic-nac shop to look around

If you go to Qingdao without paying homage to this monument, then you din't visit this city. Amazing icon that sparkles both day and night. Adjacent to the 2008 Olympic sailing village.

This area is great there are lots of nice photo spots around! You can easily walk along the marina from here and enter the Olympic sailing area, as well as parks and music square. It's awesome at night time because the statue is all lit...More

May Fourth Square looked amazing at night with the vibrant lighting. The history provided the sense of respect for the movement and the idea of using the "May wind" felt really brilliant. Great to spend some time here after dinner.

Not that great as I expected though there were so many people enjoy in that square. Good place if you first visit to Qingdao.
