Located around the Chunxi Road Metro Station, the Tai Gu Li is a busy all day throughout shopping belt and it is more of a high end shopping. There are many international brand and boutique stores located here (together with some local brands and shopping centers) and if you are a shopaholic or fancy these branded goods, here is the place to go.

And there are also many eateries and restaurants, be it local or foreign, you will have ample food options and choices.

Also from here, you can walk to the IFS to see the great panda display or should you need to take the airport shuttle bus, here is where you should go.

Even if you are not into shopping, coming by here will allow you to indulge in the local culture and lifestyle and you can also see street performers here too at night!

Everything you’ll need in one area , shopping , the 4d screen right out there in the open , restaurants whether it be Chinese cuisine or western cuisine. During holiday it may be difficult to find a taxi or get unto the train . Be careful of persons trying to sell you perfumes ,or any other stuff . You can catch a glimpse of the big panda crawling its way up the IFS building.

It’s not just these kind of buildings in the photo. When you walk out of the center, you walk out to the Times Square of Chengdu. And this place is massive. You can spend the whole afternoon and the night at this location. The food is great, and it will always be active. Even though there were a ton of people, I did not feel crowded which was nice. This is a mandatory place to visit in chengdu!

This is the place to find all the designer brands. It closely resembles Xintiandi in Shanghai. There are plenty of dining options here but these are the ones that tend to be pricier.

This is the place for people watching as we noticed that many people dressed fashionably, likely with the intention of being noticed.

I understand that this is the place where many young people will upload video of themselves doing fun stuff on the Douyin (aka TikTok) platform.

We spent quite a bit of time here checking out the alleys and the temple. Do expect to pay a premium for restaurants in this area and check out the temple!

For city sleeker its a must. Nice ambience to chill out. And let the time goes by. It is an open air concept so can be very hot.

If you’re a city slicker like myself, then places like these will appeal to you. Nice outdoor layout with high end shops. The center has a historic Buddhist shrine open to the public with no crowds, which is a rarity in China.
