This place was walking distance from our hotel (BuddhaZen)... is a nice little monastery and park. Just strolling around you will see people practicing Tai Chi... elders chatting up. Worth a little relaxing time. Dont forget to eat at the restaurant opposite the main gate......More
This place has changed quite a fair bit since I came about 4-5 years ago. It used to be much bigger and quieter but it has now fenced off part of it for the monks and also for the teahouse/restaurant.

The temple is one of Chengdu's main attractions. It is a modern monastery, but is filled with history and is a good place to get acquainted with Buddhism. It is a very easy to get there and wasn't crowded at all.
