Thanks you Jordan. We were so glad to have the opportunity to see this side of Chengdu. I can imagine the small shops and the street markets we visited may become a thing of the past with Chengdu's rapid economic expansion. We loved so much...More

Undoubdtably the most culinary experience of Chengdu cuisine. Authentic sechuan flavors, discovering Tibetan influences, tasting textures and complex structures, meanwhile discovering hidden parts of the city you didn’t imagine being there. All that with a guide who loves food and it’s stories. Revealing the secrets...More

Jordan set up a private tour. Admittedly I didnt do my homework and realize how many places actually shut down for Chinese New Years and Spring festival but Jordan still found a way to find great places and markets still buzzing with people and delicious...More

Jordan was great. We did a private tour with him, which he customized to our specific interests (one of us is a chef with a particular interest in Sichuan food). Through the markets, restaurants, and copious baijiu tastings, we got to enjoy Jordan's knowledge and...More

I would definitely send a note to Jordan at Chengdu Foodie Tours and ask him - they seem to know all the nooks and crannies. Have a great trip!
