Great place if not crowded.. otherwise don't get in.

Great live salsa music. The atmosphere is perfect to enjoy and watch salsa dancers among the crowd. It is pricy on top of the cover fee you pay at the entrance. It was too crowded... read more

Great live salsa music. The atmosphere is perfect to enjoy and watch salsa dancers among the crowd. It is pricy on top of the cover fee you pay at the entrance. It was too crowded at the beginning, so no way anybody can dance.. even to move. So if you just want to go there for a couple of hours,... More

My husband and I were there last week and after paying a hefty cover charge found that they pack the place so you can't move and over charge you for drinks - and THEN i get home to find out they stole my credit card info and charged $700+ to it!!! A horrible experience all round. Stear clear of this... More

We went to Havana club last night and were quite impressed in general. The let down is how over priced everything is. Entry is $25,000 pesos which doesn't include anything. We got there at 10pm for our reservation and were stunned by the prices for drinks and food! However once the band started it was fantastic. We were up all... More

It's a most visit establishment in the Old City. We walked in and discovered it's was Yuri Buenaventura's birthday, so we celebrated with him. The "house band" performed 2x sets of Son music and the DJ provided the rest. This establishment is 100%, nothing else. Please keep that in mind.

There was another reviewer here (don't Remember his name but, I remember he's from SF) that was on the mark!! But, of course, we HAD to see for ourselves..... If you enjoy American suburban uncontrolled women who have one drink and are grabbing every Colombian man because they clearly never go out at home, then this is your joint! As... More

An icon of a place here in Cartagena. Classic Cuban music, dancing around the bar and great drinks. Don't miss the Mojitos. Admission charged.

The place was full to the point of us no been able to move from one spot to another or even dance.. the place is shabby but quaint ... the music is excellent and the atmosphere very pleasant although it was not very fresh.. (smelling strange after the men's toilet flooded...) The drinks are stiff... we had only one Cuba... More

The club has a real Cuban feel with its music and salsa. The entry is a little steep of about 20.000 pesos, but is worth it considering the ambiance. The place is really crowded and not a lot of space to dance, but we had a great deal of fun anyway.

I know, you read snappy description of Cafe Havana and it sounds fun and unique. Skip it - it’s a total tourist trap, I promise. It’s overrun with suburban white women named Carol, Linda, and Pam, drinks are overpriced and borderline undrinkable.

My friend and I recently stopped here to enjoy local coffee during a cruise ship excursion. Service was good and the coffee was great. Check it out!
