Great place this is a must see. The bronzed Botero statues are amazing! Lots of vendors selling everything you could think off. Fruits, hats, drinks figuring you name it. The metro station is across the street so it's really easy to get to. Don't miss...More

This is a plaza full of life. The people looking at the statues add to the fun of the statues themselves. And to think, the artist donated all the works makes it even more impressive.

The Plaza Botero really is something of an experience. Botero's creations are amazing! Fun and fascinating. But it's hard not to notice the women at the first part of the plaza, hanging about... that being said - as far as I could tell they were...More

This plaza and adjacent museum has virtually all of Botero’s Work plus much of his private collection. This is the #1 thing you should not miss in Medellin.

If you're looking for a budget activity go here. The square is full of botero statues. Tip: just on the corner is the best Empenadas shop of Medellin

This is the wonder park of Botero sculptures. Magical and stunning. We were entranced by the sculptures and our fellow voyeurs.

Plaza Botero, has some interesting art work from the artist you guessed it Botero. The area is a bit rough when wandering off the main courtyard area. You may see commercial activity that should be in a red light district including a several blocks of...More

The plaza is located in the main part of the city and has plenty of Botero's sculptures to see. It is also next to the museum that has lots of Botero's art.

Few people speak English in Medellin, or Colombia for that matter. One of the telecomms, UNE, sells USB wireless keys to access the Internet. When I checked last year, the key cost COP 50,000 and access was COP60,000/month.
