I was actually really. Underwhelmed overall by Parque Arvi. Upon arrival, you're greatest by various stalls selling great food, drink and other interesting things. This information stall did a great job of explaining the points of interest but if you're planning to walk this, it's an incredibly uneventful. I found myself spending the majority of the time walking along the... More

the cable car ride to get to the entrance of the park is worth doing even if you don't go into the park. it goes over the top of the dense forest below for mile after mile and there are some tall trees below. Once there you can do a guided hike for 1 or 3 hours around the park... More

After an interesting cable car ride to the park you will discover a large park, think big, with walking trails. It is a nice and comfortable way to spend a morning or night. The park presents a touch of nature within the city. The cable car gives you the opportunity to stop on the way up or down in a... More

We took the Metrocable to Arvi Park on Good Friday. Although it was a rainy and cold day the trip was an excellent adventure and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Medellin.

Arvi Park looks great but I don't think has been developed enough. To access some hikes you have to walk considerable on the road with cars passing next to you. If just want to have a ride on the cable car and have a treat on the top that's a great option. There are some guided tours in Spanish but... More

Well worth for even a short visit- we only spent 1,5h there, but it was a nice walk, away from the busy center. Even the Metrocable from San Domingo is an experience of its own, great for making photos. Dress warmly, if you are going late in the afternoon (last Metrocable out is at 18h), or on a cloudy day.

Visiting parque arvi is recommended for everyone visiting medellin. The trip by metrocable is a spectacular journey by itself with nice views over the valley. Parque arvi offers fresh air and beautiful nature, which is a very opportunity to escape the pollution currently present in the city.

A beatific, place outside of the city but rather close. The best way to go there is by the cable, the view is very nice, although it goes to a poor part of town that was nicely transformed with the cable. It Isa natural, park and vegetation is beautiful. There is a nice hotel, and attraction are very nice.

The Metro-Cable ride is a perk to getting to the park. Once there, wander around and enjoy the great outdoors Medellin style. It is green, green, green everywhere and those into hiking and such will love it. We walked on to Santa Elena for lunch. Fortunately, a bus came as we were tired.
