Love the re-use of a heritage building! Great museum and wonderful exhibition making it a world class Museum for Botero work. Make sure you visit the Museum restaurant, definitely a respite in both menu, location and service when compared to other eating establishments in the area.

Bortero's sculptures are in the plaza outside creating an air of playfulness. The museum inside has a variety of his sculptures and paintings. In addition, there are works of a many other significant artists with a concentration of Latino artists. The works are varied and interesting. The building itself is also architecturally interesting. We learned that the art work in the... More

This museum has a great collection of Botero paintings and sculptures. It is worth seeing just for them.

I wasn't expecting the Louvre, and indeed this Museum ranks far down the list from the Mets, Prado's and Uffizi's of the world. But with Botero as their cornerstone and focused mission of telling the Antioquian art story, these guys do a pretty good job. The building is situated in Botero Park, easy walking distance from the Metro and chock-full... More

Nice spot to visit in you are into Art, i adored the building in itself as architecture here is not something that really gets a lot of attention. Once you have seen a finca and a cafetera, you are pretty much done but in this museum there are interesting pieces including a bunch of Boteros, If you haven't been to... More

Get you fill of Botero's paintings, plus 27 sculptures located outside of the Museum (Plaza Botero). Excellent location, right next to Estación Parque de Berríos. Entrance was less than 7 dollars. Experience three levels of fine art exhibits. A must do in Medellin.

The museum is located close to many restaurants and street vendors. The artwork is like any other museum. The staff were very helpful. There is a whole room for kids with interactive activities.

The Museum is best known for its Botero exhibit, but there is much more to be seen here. A superb collection. Parque Botero, just outside the Museum, is also a must-see.

This Museum is pretty small and doesn't rate with museums in major cities in Europe or North America. It isn't even as impressive as the museum in Bogota. However, it is a good museum for a city of Medellins size, and has some very interesting exhibits. The majority of the paintings and sculture were by the famous Columbian artist Botero,... More
