This is the biggest and best science museum for adults and kids in the western hemisphere

There was SO much to do! To much to play with. So much to see. Its cheap and there is a ton to experience. I loved this and my friends and I had a great time.

Been to many planetariums, but this one was a huge disappointment. The exhibits are located on floors 3 and 2, but they are really just mostly pictures. This would be a place to take children, adults should skip it. The show lasted maybe 1/2 hour and was pretty much a cartoon. The entire thing was in Spanish so if your... More

My family and I visited the planetarium (after visiting the Botanical Gardens just across the street) and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it (12 and 10 years old). The exhibits are in both Spanish and English and they also have workshops (around 50 minutes) which my kids loved (in Spanish). You can check online the schedule of movies they are showing... More

Although the dome was closed due to construction, we still had fun going through the self-guided tour. Very interesting exhibits!

The planetarium is geared toward kids, but everybody loves a good interactive explanation. Every placard is accompanied by something to play with. The staff is helpful and the movies in the domo are great (and included in the price of entrance).

You can choose between the kids and the adults show. At the latter you will see two movies, which are both interesting, but the second one is the best I've ever seen about this subject. Very well explained. The exhibition after is nice and they prepared many experiments. If you have visited other planetariums before you don't have to go... More

My wife and I took our 10 year old to the Planetarium. It was not great, but it was entertaining. She definitely enjoyed it. The movie was great and very educative. The "interactive" rooms also had fun activities and cool facts about earth, and the solar system and so on. I would not visit it if I was alone with... More

If you are planning to visit Parque Explora, you can visit the same day the Planetarium. Inside you can see several things about astronomy.

I have seen other planetariums in other big cities of the world and the one in Medellin is one of the finest. Besides the shows in the dome itself, the exhibits throughout the planetarium are very educational and very well designed.
