Of all the arcades on the Jersey Shore, this is the only one worth visiting. Not only is it a good value for how much you pay for admission, the place is a literal museum for pinball and arcade machines. There are rare classics here (Gemini!), with some machines from the 70’s and 80’s that are nearly impossible to find let alone get to play.

This is a yearly pilgrimage for myself and my young family and I hope to make it back here with just my wife and I for many years to enjoy the games from our youth. I just wish people realized how fortunate they are to play these machines and treat them with more reverence and care.

The Silverball Museum in Asbury Park is a prime example of what a retro pinball and video game “museum” should be. Everything is playable, well maintained and loved with facts and high score charts for almost every game and pin. You pay based on the time you plan to spend inside so it’s free play based on your play style. Food and drink are available and it’s clean and the folks working there are friendly. You really couldn’t ask more!

I came here a number of years ago as a teenager with my family, and had to take my wife here when we found ourselves in the area. This place is an absolute blast, for any and all ages.

There is so much arcade history packed into one small storefront. Each vintage machine has a plaque detailing its history and fun facts about it, making it nostalgia heaven for anyone who spent their childhood in arcades.

Best of all, you can play any machine you want! For a relatively reasonable entrance fee, you get unlimited game play on any machine you want. And they don’t just have pinball: there’s vintage video games, skee ball, and other arcade classics dating from the 50’s all the way through modern day. We spent over 2 hours here and enjoyed every minute.

If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. You’ll be glad you did!

Easily one of my favorite and the best retro arcades you'll find at any Jersey Shore boardwalk! 15 bucks gets you an hour of unlimited plays and they simply ask that you wear a mask the whole time you're inside. We went before closing and they let us stay after an hour. Great workers and very clean!

Referring to the Silverball Pinball Museum as a “museum” is a little misleading - this is so much more than just a typical "museum". Unlike the typical "museum" where visitors pay an entrance fee and just look at exhibits behind glass cases, this is all hands on. Dozens and dozens of antique pinball machines, skeeball machines, electronic bowling machines, etc that also include a brief historical background of the respective machines. Every machine is set for unlimited play for free. I paid for an hour of play which cost just $2.50 more than a half hour and was well worth the price. I can't say enough about how much fun this place is - and I can't wait to return.

This place is a throwback to earlier years when arcades were in fashion. While a few do exist, this experience was exceptional. A single flat fee depending on the length of your stay. For a little bit more, the price allows you to stay for 6-hours or longer

Well you may say, why stay so long? The simple truth is all the games are part of the entrance fee. You can play as many games as you like for as long as you like. Now that’s a real deal. There are hundreds of pinball, air hockey and other games. Located on the Asbury Park boardwalk, it’s easy to park and enjoy the fun. While it was a Friday afternoon in November, it wasn’t busy and we parked right in front. It’s the coolest place on Earth.

Been here many times over the years and never disappoints, had my birthday party here last year with 12 adults and everyone had a blast. They allow you to bring in your own food, beverages (alcoholic as well!), decorations, etc. For a flat fee you get a few hours of unlimited games, use of their party tables and a fridge. Plus, the birthday guy or gal gets a tee shirt to bring home.

This museum is right on the boardwalk and offers the arcade experience of days gone by. There are arcade games starting from the 1950's to the current machines. One entrance fee for an hour gives one the opportunity to play bowling, pinball, baseball, shooting galleries, skiball, driving machines,hockey,Pac-Man and I am sure I missed something. Food is offered, which I think is typical of boardwalks, hot dogs, hamburgers, and fries etc...They do keep late hours if u need to step away from some of the bar venues to have a different diversion. Each machine has a historical placard explaining its history and retirement. Overall a great experience and a must do between boardwalk bar hops. Have fun.

Down in Asbury Park for a fall anniversary time away. Hands down, the Silverball was the best thing on the Boardwalk or in the town itself! Loved the pay one price fee. We paid for the 1/2 day fee and spent around 4 hours or so. There were old 1950's machines (with bumpers worth 10 or 25 points) as compared to the whiz-bang, musical, bells and whistle machines of today, and everything in between.

They also had a few Skeeball machines and an Air Hockey table. Food is available there. It was okay, and the prices were a bit steep, but in comparison to everything else around, it was fine.

We may even just bop down one day for a day trip.

It definitely paid to go in the morning. No crowds. Little waiting.

They also have birthday parties here.

Spent a few hours in here on a Saturday night. I wish I had come earlier and stayed longer. If you grew up in the golden age of pinball and video games this is the arcade of your dreams. A great selection of new and old games ensures that all ages can find something fun. There is an admission fee at the door and then all of the games are on free play. Don't miss this if you are in the area.
