While this building is an icon and has a lot of history, it is in a horrible state. The bathrooms are disgusting, with bathroom walls and doors inside the bathrooms are hanging off the walls. The ceiling throughout the entire structure is in need of...More

Probably the nicest building in the shore and it quite a good state. Historic building with the Paramount theatre and variety of interesting souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. It is amazing from the outside as well as from tne inside. Amazing place to visit!

The Paramount Theater and Convention Hall are housed in a beautiful historic building located right on the Asbury Park boardwalk. There are quaint little shops inside, and some food options, too. I always carve out time for a visit to the Convention Center when I'm...More

It was great to see the historic theatre still being used for production shows. Some of the other historic buildings along the boardwalk have fallen in disrepair. But this one was really an architectural gem. The red brick and decorative glazed ceramic tiles and designs...More

AT the end of the boardwalk is an art deco building with seemingly no purpose. Maybe at one time it had, but Asbury Park fell on hard times, so did the building. There is a movie theatre inside and some non-descript shops a candy store...More

I attended the Hot Tuna concert 12/7/17. I love the classic theaters and The Paramount is a quintessential example.

It is a comfortable old theatre with a lot of nearby parking (we attended a December concert). The volunteer ushers are friendly and helpful. The problem is the acoustics. The sound was disappointing.

For the main part the walk through where shops are located at here isn’t one. Nor for the outside bar areas. However for the shows venue one is available.

Summer parking is hard and pricey. During "winter" months- you can find alot of empty "free/closed" lots. Double check tho- if a event is going on in the area, they wont be free. Love Asbury in the "not summer" months- easy... More
