Great place to see a show, weather it's a local battle of the bands or a national act, we've seen Stryper, Sebastian Bach, Anthrax and Motorhead here. You can get right up to the stage in this intimate setting. Bartenders are great. Come out and support the Pony.

Went to the stone pony last night for the first time and the place was HORRIBLE. I have never been to a more crowded establishment in my life. I can't believe how many people they had sardined inside. The staff was insanely rude I have NEVER been treated so poorly in a venue in my life. It took AGES to... More

Especially The Stone Pony, which seems to rely heavily on its reputation and long-term placement in such a popular shore area--while the decor is somewhat interesting, with all the hundreds of real signed guitars adorning the walls, it is overall kind of dated and dingy. We began waiting in line at 5:45 p.m. for a "7:00 show" as stated on... More

Buy tickets in advance. Eat in Asbury Park. Dance your heart out. Look at the memorabilia on the walls. Buy a hat and shirt. Take a cab /uber home . Visit in every season and walk the boardwalk.....

Over its 40 year history, The Stone Pony has featured Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Toby Keith, and Ignite the Atmosphere. The sound is terrific, the bartender was awesome!! And the food is great. Not overpriced but a generous portion. Burgers, onion rings! Check out the band scene their

Place was a cool place. was on a list for winning tickets so we got there early they let us right in sat in the bar area for a bit and checked it out. Guitars all over and a lot of pics on the walls. Didn't see Springsteen though they say he's a regular and realized he was doing a... More

Willie Nelson was fantastic - that man doesn't age - it was great to see him and it was beautiful to watch the sun set behind the stage. The employees working the gate and the bar were super accommodating and very pleasant. The negative (and it was a big one) was the customers. We started out with a fantastic view... More

Hi l am from London England and a total Bruce Springsteen nut. So when the family decided on a vacation in NY City in April 2016, l decided to head to Asbury Park and visit the Stone Pony. Amazing! There was no concert that day but the staff were amazing. They let me wander round at my leisure, even taking... More

Saw two concerts this Summer...Janes Addiction and The GoGo's. Rain or shine, will delay for rain but won't cancel so bring a raincoat or poncho. Drinks are reasonably priced. People were smoking so that might be an issue. The sound system was poor quality, and too low, especially when the artists were speaking to the audience. I'm the JA concert... More
