Love this park. The views at sunset are amazing. Easy to navigate for all types of activity levels. Get tickets online to avoid long line at the park.

From Santa Marta it can be a 1.5-2 HOUR drive so be prepared. You will pay a nominal fee before entering the park - its basivally so they can keeo track of who is in the park and insurance coverage of something happens. Water is...More

Takes about 2.5 hours from the park entrance. Opportunities to see monkeys, and lots of other wildlife. We even saw a full length caiman. Make sure that you have sun cream and insect repellent.

No one asked us about yellow fever. However, we did take Quinine as a preventive for Malaria. It seems they are more worried about that. We were there in October of 2018. It was FANTASTIC and should be on the Bucket List.
