Was great for smirking and taking pictures, we saw turtles, small sharks and fish! But be prepared for colder waters! Most tours provide wetsuits!

Great dives here. Have a few dives under your belt before going here. Very strong current and temperature changes.

My sister, boyfriend and I did the Kicker Rock and Playa Grande tour with Islanders Galapagos Tour Operators in San Cristobal and it was fantastic! Snorkeling at Leon Dormido was exhilarating; we saw Hammerheads, Galapagos Sharks, Rays, Turtles and more! Playa Grande was also exceptionally beautiful. Our guide Jorge was so knowledgeable and witty and the rest of the crew... More

The swell was too high so we couldn't see much and I got hella boat sick BUT the rock it self and just snorkelling around it and riding the swell was cool in itself. We saw some fish and some claimed to have seen a Galapagos shark, that could just be their delusions though as it was $100USD for the... More

This is an astonishing site. We saw more wildlife here than anywhere else on our 14 day trip, Inc many hammerheads.

The Kicker Rock tour, arranged by the Golden Bay featuring 'John' the naturalist was the best of our Galapagos experience. We snorkeled with five species of shark, giant turtles, sea lions, and saw the bottlenose dolphins frolicking with our boat. The birds were equally impressive and a good time was had by all.

Oh my! A breathtaking experience. We rented a boat and driver and we weren't disappointed. They let us swim through Kicker rock and back, and then we looked down...and Hammerheads everywhere pretty far down below. Although the guides said we were safe, we didn't take it for granted. After the swim they took us to a secluded beach and let... More

It was a little cloudy the day we went, but we saw 20+ sharks and a school of rays gliding through the water. As usual we were accompanied by some friendly seals who just wanted to play.

Going to Kicker Rock was one of those moments where I knew I would do it but was somewhat relieved when we were back in the boat!! Definitely thrilling. As we were snorkeling through the channel between the rocks a group of sea lions swam so quickly past us it felt like they were going to run into us. They... More
