The walk to get to the beach is a bit boring. Not much to see that you can not see all over the island but the beach is nice. The first beach you get to is too rough for swimming. There are lots of iguanas at the end of the first beach. But you can see them all over town... More

The walk path has very little shade and bug spray would help. The beach is beautiful once you get there and full of very large marine iguanas. The water is so blue but you have to walk out to get to deeper water to swim. There is a smaller beach to the right that is good for snorkeling but you... More

One of the most fantastic places of Galapagos. These lovely, survivor ceteosaurus are all over on the white, unspoiled beach. You can observe them withing the 2 m rule, but occassionally it is themsleves who climb closer to you on the rocks. Thay are incredible tame, just look at you with their dignified face. You can observe them in the... More

White sand, land and see iguanas, kayaks, sharks, turtles - wow! It's definitely worth getting out into the bay on one of the kayaks available - you will find sleeping white tipped sharks in the mangroves and turtles swimming along with you. The iguanas are something out of the pre-historic age

If you go walking, make sure to wear a good pair of sneakers for the path that leads to the beach. It's a 3,5 km walk, so if you wear flip flops, you will suffer. Once you get to the beach, you can walk on your feet. It's an amazing place with soft sand and a beautiful view. You will... More

Takes about 30-40 minutes of a walk... but VERY beautiful beach with lots of Iguana. Very clear water. It's a MUST for anyone visiting!

The taxi ride out was worthwhile just to see more of the island. Snorkelling in November was not great but the water was warm enough.

It will take a 40 min walk if going slow or 20 min run to get there, better if guided to enjoy the plentiful biodiversity in the path and snorkel in Playa Mansa is a must.

To get to the entry you have to go up by some rock stairs maybe 20 or 30 mts. then you have to walk a lot to get to the beach ( 2.5Km going and 2.5 to get back) by a well structured path, the you arrive to the place the photo shows, its a long beach an if you... More
