The huge male sea lions, having lost their harem to a stronger male on the Peruvian coast, travel north to the waters just west of Salinas where they recover and build strength for revenge. Quit amazing! We always take our visitors there.

Great views. Took some beautiful photos. Could see the sealions in the distance. Very busy and small parking lot.

You get to see sea lions! What more can I say? A nice spot to go with family. We saw sea lions and marine turtles.

We took a cab, it is a long walk from the main military gate, don't forget your passport. The sea lions, about 30 were hard to see & not too active today! Bring binoculars if you have them

If you'd like to see fat, happy sea lions, then this is the place to go. They love climbing up on the rocks dancing and jumping into the gorgeous clearwater of the Pacific Ocean.

There are seals and the entire area had been rebuild. It's more pleasant to walk nearby and there is a walk area that connect the Loberia and La Chocolatera (not sure about el morro).
